Direct Marketing Methodology
Our rigorously maintained database of decision-makers in key industry sectors is constantly used to successfully promote the work of ourselves and to kick-start the marketing campaigns that we design for our clients. We add to our list by vigilant monitoring of relevant publications and quality newspapers.
We have supplied lists of quality contacts to a number of clients in many industry and service sectors.
A variety of searches can be employed, according to size of company, job-title etc. More sophisticated searches can also be implemented, please contact us to develop a specific requirement.
Our more frequent offers are listed below:
Mailing campaigns
The initial email text is agreed with the client and adjusted in the light of feedback. There is also a follow up email or postal mailing agreed at the outset, so that respondents can be supplied with further more detailed information quickly.
Each mailing carries a “please delete me” option. Such contacts are immediately “fully quarantined”.
Selection of Contacts
Contacts are selected by choosing attributes appropriate to the client’s needs from database fields using Boolean logic. This gives a well qualified list and a final eyeball check is made as the email is personalised in the initial approach.
Our “promotion date” field is updated to ensure we do not cold contact a person more often than once in 12 weeks, usually it is much longer so we avoid accusations of spamming.
If we are engaged for the “Premium Service” we would then phone these contacts in about 10 days to check receipt of the initial or supplementary material and qualify their level of interest.
There is also a “catch all” query which may be used in the later stages of a campaign to capture (via an experienced eye) some further suspects where the subtlety of one or the qualifying fields of the search is borderline or difficult to locate.
UKLIST Email Prospecting Charges
Postal Campaigns We only do these when specifically commissioned to do so.
Setting-up an email
The first task is to agree the wording of an initial email.
We charge a fixed fee for this, which is dependant on the work involved.
We are prepared to waive this charge, if we are free to comment on the client’s wording.
Follow up email/postal mailing
This also needs to be devised. If included in the email set-up task, it does not usually increase the cost. Our conditions for waiving this fee remain the same.
